Now, let’s look at the types of outside bets. If a player puts a chip on a 2:1 box at the end of the betting table, they are betting on all of the numbers within that column. This kind of bet is called a Column Bet and has a payout of 2 to 1.
The Dozen Bet entails a player placing their chip on the 1st 12, 2nd 12, or 3rd 12 box on the side of the betting table. The 1st 12 box covers the numbers 1-12, while the 2nd 12 covers 13-24, and the 3rd 12 covers 25-36. The Dozen Bet has a payout of 2 to 1.
A player could also place a Bet on Color, which means they place a chip on either the red box or the black box on the side of the betting table. If the chip is placed on the red box, then the player is betting on all red numbers. Similarly, by placing a chip on the black box, the player is betting on all black numbers. The Bet on Color’s payout is 1 to 1.
