PokerStars live events catering to London masses kick off in March 2017
ONCHAN, Isle of Man – February 22, 2016 – PokerStars London Series will debut at PokerStars LIVE at The Hippodrome Casino London in the heart of London's West End, from March 2-5, 2017, PokerStars, an Amaya Inc., (NASDAQ: AYA; TSX: AYA) brand, announced today. The £275 PokerStars London Series in March will feature a £40,000 guarantee, 25,000 starting stack, and four starting flights, including a new Saturday Night Turbo flight at 8pm.
There will be five new PokerStars London Series events over the coming months with buy-ins starting from £275. The new PokerStars London Series schedule, which was created following player feedback on the UKIPT Series and the Hippodrome Classics, will include increased guarantees and starting stacks, tournaments with deeper stacks and longer levels, and prolonged registration.

As always there will be plenty of opportunities to qualify at PokerStars. Satellites for the inaugural PokerStars London Series start this Sunday, February 26, where players can qualify for as little as £1.10. Alternatively, players can also qualify live at the Hippodrome on March 2.

PokerStars.com is proud to present the UKIPT Series; a new tournament series to be held alongside UKIPT Season 4. With a new structure, accessible buy-ins and events taking place throughout the year in London’s The Hippodrome Casino, you don’t want to miss it.
All UKIPT Series buy-ins will be £250 + £25, and the events will feature a 20,000 starting stack, with an identical structure to the UKIPT Main Events (with the exception of the Omaha event). All UKIPT Series events will have a 30 minute clock throughout.
The UKIPT Series will be eligible for UKIPT side event leaderboard points, plus winners of each event will also be invited to the UKIPT Champion of Champions event at the end of Season 4. There they’ll battle it out for a free UKIPT Season 5 passport.
